Is This The Change You Believed In?

Since Obama was elected to be the next President something has happened on that has never been seen before - Wall Street is collapsing.

Throughout the campaign Obama promised take care of every citizen’s needs from school to medical bills to rent and fuel-efficient cars. He promised new massive government spending. He’s suggested privatizing profits and socializing losses in the banking industry.

But Wall Street understands that the federal government has absolutely no money that it doesn’t take out of the wallets of the nation’s workforce. Washington cannot spend one dime of their own money, rather every program they create is financed out of the paychecks of those that actually work for a living.

Wall Street is scared of damage about to be done to our successful Capitalism, and with good reason. Liberal gadfly Michael Moore said on Larry King the other night, “And I think, really, what we’re seeing here right now with them, with the banks, we’re seeing the end of capitalism — the end of capitalism as we know it. And I say good riddance. It hasn’t helped the people or the planet.”

Obama shares Moore’s hope of a Socialist Utopia where you are not allowed to keep the fruits of your labors, and only they are wise enough to know who to give your income to. Investors and risk-takers will no longer drive the economy. Small businesses will go bankrupt. Larger companies will not be able to expand.

This is going to be an interesting four years.
